Kevin Richardson, 41, and wife Kristin Willits, 42, welcomed their second child at 3:05 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10. “Maxwell Haze Richardson decided to join the party,” the Backstreet Boys star announced via Facebook. “He is a stout 9 lbs., 8 oz. / 23 inches long. Love! Love! Love!”
The couple – who are already parents to 6-year-old son Mason – met in 1993 and were wed in 2000.
Baby Maxwell is the sixth child born to the Backstreet Boys: Brian Littrell has one son, Baylee; AJ McLean has one daughter, Ava; while Howie Dorough has two sons, James and Holden. The fifth member, Nick Carter, has no children, but is recently engaged to actress Lauren Kitt.
The Backstreet Boys are currently on the In a World Like This Tour. They are set to next perform on August 2 at the Charter One Pavilion in Chicago.
