Promoting their new album In A World Like This, the Backstreet Boys are currently on a nationwide radio tour before going out on their concert tour with DJ Pauly D and Jesse McCartney.
Nick Carter and Howie Dorough stopped by the Mix 104.1 studios Tuesday morning to chat with Karson and Kennedy. With the recent story that Aaron Carter had been involved in a fight in Boston last weekend over New Kids on the Block, Kennedy had to ask what Nick thought about his brother’s alleged altercation.
“How am I going to answer this question?” said Nick. “He is not a black belt in anything. Dancing, maybe. Dance fighting,” as the studio erupted in laughter.
“It’s just strange because honestly I literally talk to all the New Kids all the time, and we’ve got a past in this town with these guys,” Nick continued. “So Aaron started associating with us in that way.”
While Nick was only speculating and has no idea what really happened, he insinuated that Aaron might have brought a bit of his tough situation on himself – and only because he’s a kid and he’s human like all of us.
“It’s just a little strange the way the whole situation went down,” Nick explained. “But you know, it’s my brother. He’s young. I was young one time.”
